We are members of Portland State University

Students, Faculty, Staff, as well as members of the broader Portland, Oregon community and beyond, concerned about:

• Cuts to critical language, linguistics, history, philosophy and other programs.
• Lack of transparency about such changes.
• Termination of Intensive English Language Program faculty, closure of the IELP, Termination of 17 Non Tenure Track Faculty.
• Target salary reduction in 2025 of $12.5M, despite PSU reserves of over $210M+ and 1B spent on construction since 2010.
• PSU students unable to complete planned courses of study.
• The future of equitable access to quality education that welcomes and supports all learners.
